Most credible professional grade ceramic companies will require an annual maintenance detail. Why? Well, it’s simple. They want their coating to remain at optimum performance  throughout its protective life.  While ceramic coatings lock out harsh toxens that damage your paint, the coating itself is pourous and will take on these contaminates – taking one for the team. 

For example, during a snowy winter a vehicle’s paint may experience road salt. Although the coating is still protecting your paint, the salt (and other road fallout) can slightly reduce the hyrdrophobic repellancy of the coating.  This annual visit allows us to detox the coating and restore it to full performance.
